Hair oiling is an increasingly popular treatment that has stolen the hearts of hair geeks, but not only. It gives the impression of really beautiful locks, which are additionally moisturized and smoothed, and they shine wonderfully! Here’s how to perform it correctly!
Hair oiling is an extremely pleasant procedure that clearly improves the appearance and condition of hair. However, it should be performed regularly and with good quality oils. After the first treatment you will see great results, and your hair will be shiny and wonderfully manageable!
Matching a specific oil to your hair is a fundamental issue. Therefore, it is worth knowing what effect each has.
Castor oil affects hair growth, so it is often used for eyelashes and eyebrows as well. However, there is nothing to exaggerate the frequency of application of this type of oil. Applying it more than once a week can make the hair structure dull.
Nigella oil improves scalp hydration, actively fights dandruff and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. However, it is best to use it in combination with other oils, such as coconut, then it gives the best results. Meanwhile, it is coconut oil that is the most commonly used oiling product. No wonder, since it protects the hair structure from impurities, makes the hair shine beautifully, and is absorbed extremely quickly. On top of that, the strands remain smooth and perfectly moisturized. Olive oil is also used for oiling. This makes the hair bouncy, soft, and all damage disappears. However, it is worth bearing in mind that if you have severely oily hair, it is better to avoid olive oil in excess.
Hair oiling can be done both dry and wet. In order to properly carry out the dry treatment, you should first comb your hair decently so that it is perfectly smooth. Apply the oil of your choice to your hand and warm it up slightly by rubbing your palms together. As a first step, apply the product to your scalp to moisturize it. Massage it in using a head massager with tabs, or do it in circular motions with your hands. Keep adding additional portions of the oil to yourself and apply it to your entire scalp also at the back and behind the ears. Then spread the oil from the roots to the ends and comb through with your fingers. Leave the whole thing on for 15 minutes. After that, smudge the locks with your fingers again and wrap them in a cotton cloth and leave it on for 30 minutes or even overnight. After the treatment, wash everything off thoroughly with a shampoo. The hair will then look beautiful and perfectly arranged. As for wet hair, apply the oil in the same way and let the whole thing dry. It is best then not to go to bed with such a concoction on your head. The locks may then become tangled and difficult to comb. Whichever method you choose, you will surely be satisfied with the results.
